BONZi Shirts (pronounced "BAHN-zee", not like the tree) designs topical and progressive t-shirts supporting worthy causes. This means that 3% from every purchase is donated to a cause that we believe in. You can learn more about our charitable partners at Shirts To Believe In.

Our mission is to stand up for what we believe is right, and to share those messages with others. We hope you find something that you love!

Our History

From the beginning, we told people that we were "designing shirts that you don't need with references & jokes that you (probably) don't get." Although we said this jokingly, it does help to explain some niche references found on many products. The t-shirt journey began in 2015 with an inside joke that led to a run of hand-made, iron-on decal shirts. The original shirt? Just Me And The Boys Doin Brunch Stuff.

Me And The Boys Doin Brunch Stuff made its debut on a wintery Saturday in Chicago. Of course we started at a boozy brunch with 5 guys. As the day progressed, the shirt made appearances at many of Michigan Ave's luxury stores, including Apple and Burberry. From there, it bar crawled through numerous gay bars in Boystown. The shirt was a talking point, although most people seemed confused.

That shirt led to today's BONZi Shirts. We've come a long way from Walmart t-shirts and iron-on decals. Over the years BONZi Shirts has operated on a variety of online market places, but we're extremely excited to operate our own website!
